Wow, and I was in the market for either a '10 Mustang or new Camaro. Looks like I made the right decision!

I looked at a camaro last weekend since my car is over 15 weeks. I did see the paint problem. From the door back it was a diffrent color. I asked if the car was wrecked and of course they said no.

Yeah i looked at the camaro and I remembered 1 rule, when buying a car "never" buy the 1st run of a new vehicle, unless you like a bunch of issues...

Lol, that sentence is in contrast with most GM products.

Just about every GM I have owned..including my current '08 Impala have all kinds of little interior fit issues where stuff pops off. Hell..it has gone thru 3 sets of tires in less than a year and they can't find an issue anywhere!!! Good thing it is still under warranty. Maybe have to look into a new Taurus when it hits the road for my 4-door. Maybe a Flex?? Anyways...my company pays for it. The Impala was not my choice, it was theirs..next company car is my choice

I don't understand all those transmission problems.
Doesn't the Maro and Stang share the same manual tranny?

That's not it son.
People with blown S197 (450hp range) don't destroy their trannies.
Maybe GM uses a cheap clutch system?

exactly. you acn develop a car for years, but once its mass produced and into consumer hands, problems will develop in the first year. they arent going to mass produce thousands to find defects as the run goes on- they use a couple hundred in testing. now that theres 10,000 of these things and growing, problems are going to come up. give it a year.

did for ever find that problem that let water into the ECU and killed it?
