I would say its possible, although not likely. It would definitely have to be on very high octane, leaded race gas.

Here is a friend's of mine supra. Its just shy of 850whp last time I remember

And from the road, skip to 3:15

And a glory shot of the beast

Love it.

I am a V8 fan, but you have to respect all cars in my opinion.

The Supra motor was built to be a 500hp 5k-7k rpm all day race motor that was just detuned for consumer sales. Hence its durability. Anybody can learn a lot from examining these motors. Whats funny is a lot of people don't realize and/or don't believe that a 3.0L 6 cylinder can perform so well.

I love it when people refer to Supra's as rice burners, because the only thing getting burned is you!

Yeah don't get me wrong they are impressive, but for me about the only turbo V6 I'd drive would be a Grand National :P

Just can't get past the sound and I love the way my car sounds

no matter how much hp a supra has, it still uses shoyu in the gas tank and it still sounds like a supra.
if i were dumping a load of money into a turbo car it would be something like this

I personally think Drag cars look ridiculous but to each his own.

I would like a daily-driven street-slayer/sleeper. Which is why none of my mods show on the outside except the tips.

Anybody a fan of sleepers?

drag cars are not built for looks, they are built for spped. once you go into 600+hp cars, it better be built to drag to some extent or the hp is wasted, its just a dyno queen that doesnt get traction. when you have a 600+hp mustang, it is capable of 10 sec passes or less if properly equipped to do so. for a street car there is no need for it go above 550 rwhp bc you will never be able to use more hp on the street safely.

and i would never get a honda, i dont care how fast it is or what engine you put in it. its like a midget taking steroids, you may be the strongest midget in the world, but you will look ridiculous.

the FOX GT is definitely silly looking. The LX body style without the ground effects is still sweet.... at least to me.
