Beauty of a Supra TT is that they have enough room to put massive and I mean massive turbos in. He may also mean 43 PSI collectively, remember they run 2 turbos. My brother and I are about to send off for a total blown race block engine in a 94 300ZX TT. It will use 675 Garret turbos and we plan on race fuel to boost to 28 PSI on regular tunes, but we'll push higher. For most Supras, they run a small and then a large to take over at the high range but they have kits for same sized turbos. If hes running 43 PSI from 2 simultaneously thats 21.4lbs each. Before we tore down the 300ZX we were boosting 24psi to each turbo (which probably lead to the crack since they were stock). TT engines are built for much higher pressures but he definitely had new seals and gaskets to handle the pressure.

I have never heard of any supra running boost that high with twin turbos. Almost all Supra owners upgrade to a large single turbo and ditch the twin setup all together.
43 psi is ridiculously high for a street car...then again...it was just a license plate....but it is still curious.
EDIT: So a quick search on Youtube found me a 42psi supra.....wow
there are several 1000whp+ supras out there and a ton of 800whp+ supras. the guy I bought my first car from daily drove his 750whp supra and he was running 30psi. saw another guy who was running 850whp and 40psi. 43psi is up there but not impossible.
when you drove past him you should have tried him, if he took off like a bat outta hell then chances are he's not lying
That is a video I would like to see. (Even though I'm not a Supra fan.)
Watch that second video I posted. Near the end of the video he lays rubber down at 80 mph.
I am fully aware of the Supra and it's potential. I just never heard of 43psi.
Wow.
1300rwhp...bajeezus!
I prefer the rumble of my V8 as well. My close friend has a Lexus SC300 with a single turbo supra motor running about 22 lbs and it is z06 killer on the highway.
