So, I was out late tonight, checking out the Perseids meteor shower, and I saw what appeared to be a dark red object moving north at a steady speed, but before it passed the north star, it disappeared. Crazy. I couldn't ****ing believe it, I wish I'd videotaped it, but with or without proof, skeptics would call me a loon. Cool experience though.
Anyone else watch Perseids?

Did you not know that this shower can cause meteors to be seen in ALL directions?
(Even seeming to not come from Perseids)
Did you not know that objects in the sky can OFTEN look to be traveling at a "steady" speed?
(even if it is not)
Did you not also know that when something is on fire it can look red?
Did you not know that if a meteor burned out it would "dissapear"?
