I have to admit up until I got into cars about two years ago I never cared. Man I was missing out. This dude who has an 86 saleen 4eye took me for a ride last week at the mustang meeting. Little 225mm tires he spins those things so easy. I'd never been in a car doing doughnuts before. What a blast! Scary and fun at the same time. I can't wait to try that with my car.
Choose your stomping grounds carefully then wring the piss out of it!
I'll get a wild hair up my ass once in a while but for the most part I don't rag on either of mine much any more. Tires cost too much to scorch and the rear end in the fastback is original and by now I would suspect a bit iffy.
Besides, you don't have to fly off the face of the Earth to look cool.
These days it's mostly low and slow baby. Low and slow.

I wonder how much of this is related to age? I bet the younger guys stomp all over town while the older guys are more relaxed.
it probably has A LOT to do with age.... atleast, I hope so. For my sake atleast. lol I hope I'm not driving 90 down the hwy when I'm 80 years old. I'd really be hell on wheels then! lol

Two really good burnouts, two so so ones, a couple of 360's, and mid throttle most of the time. I find the mid throttle is good for most green lights to get away from the sheep.
Freeaway on ramps, outta my way, WOT just about everytime
I babied the freaking piss out of my car the first 2-3 years I owned it.
Drove it around the speed limit all the time, only occasional clutch dumps, but was always nice to it.
**** started breaking anyways.
Last year and a half I've been HARD on the car. It's been paid off over a year, driven like mad, and nothings gone bad *needs brakes, but after 85K what do you expect*
Seems like the harder I drive it, the less things break, and anyone who's paid any attention to some of my past threads know that I've had some stupid **** happen to my car mechanically.
As long as there isn't a lot of traffic. Ever get onto the interstate doing about 85-90mph only to be cock blocked by a bunch of slowpokes? Pucker factor.
