WOT at every light? Drive it like a grandma? I'm curious.
I've had mine for about a year and a half now. About 35 passes at the drag strip and about that many launches on the street from a dig up to 70. However, no burnouts or doughnuts yet. And when I take it for a cruise I don't always go WOT with it and often granny shift to save gasoline and wear/tear.
Do you baby yours? Or ride it hard?

yeah I get on it a lot! lol, and I own a facking Escape. hahaha But I guess it's just from all my years of owning a Mustang. I'm bad about speeding too, which is why I got a ticket on Tuesday.

It's usually the old guys. They have 'em at our mustang club. One has a modded Roush with over 500 at the crank. Has like 1500 miles on it. He hardly ever drives it, won't race it, and I'm guessing probably rarely breaks the speed limit let alone launches it hard. The car has hardly a paint chip on it.
I plan on being a little more courageous with mine once I get it paid off next spring. Then I won't worry about frying my clutch so much because I can easily afford to buy the new one.
I go fairly easy on my car; it is loud and visible and I don't need tickets. Only about 500 miles a year on it, never run at the track, never race, and only driven in perfect weather.
However, when I DO get on it, I get the **** on it.
