A10 is great for ground attack, but is vulnerable to ground fire.
F15 is great in the air superiority role. The F22 hasn't been tested in combat, but I hear it makes the F15 look like a Sopwith Camel.
F/A18 is great at both. Has air-air kills while ground attack ordinance was still attached to it's wings.
