depends on the cam & exhaust really. especially considering you can make 6ers sound likes 8s

yeah, you can usually hear the difference between a bb and sb car. as others have said, now is the time to buy cars in the price range you are looking at. we are having a much harder time selling cars in the under $30k category. the people who were buying the $50k+ cars still have the money so they are still buying.

hmmm well our '68 maro was more than 20k, but it was already frame off'd and had the motor drive train in it(not running, but in it) but it still to this day is not finished in my eyes. it still has a list of stuff that needs to be done. but to most people it looks 100%. but our car was also built for show. and was kind of a half breed, resto-rod if u will. soooo good luck, 20k is a small budget(IMHO). ive already spent more than 20k total on my ls1. and it was only 11k to begin with and ive only had it since march. and it was cherry, low mileage and late model.

anyways, pics of meh 1st gen just cuz.

holley 750
m22 4spd
1000hp rated driveshaft
12 bolt with 3.73's
drop leafs in back
drop spindles in front

The way the economy is just now, 20K will buy alot of car. Just use e-bay motors for an example........

get a Boss 351 fastest mustang untill the year 2000 when the cobra "R" came out....

Im gona have to say bull **** on that statement un less you back it up everything I read says the boss 351 ran 14.1 @ 100.6 and the 69 boss 429 ran a 14.09 @ 102.85.
