Boo, don't be dumb! I thought it was funny. I'm actually not to upset about it becuase I wasn't hurt, and I HAD to get rid of this car before winter anyways. Wasn't going to sell for anything, so I was just going to drive it to the boneyard. Had some issues no doubt, but it was also about 150,000 miles and had a hard life on the streets around here.

Was driving about 35-40mph, deer jumped out from between cars parked along side of road. Didn't have a nanosecond to react, hit it while still accelerating. Kabam, splat, thud thud (rolling up over roof). Musta been loud as hell though becuase it was 1 am and people were coming out of their houses. Some guy called the city police and helped me pick up my broken headlight. Got an incident report, but make no plans to involve insurance.

Just sucks becuase now I have to find a loan and new car NOW!

The boneyards are full of these old mustangs now.

It can't be that much to get it roadworthy again. Pull the wheel well liner away from the tire, get the alignment checked/fixed, tape a flashlight on the bumper and voila'!

Even if I had the money to fix everything wrong with it, it isn't worth my time! I was debating a few months ago whether I should put new tires on it and milk it through yet another winter, or bite the bullet and get a new car before winter hit. I needed tires and mounting and balancing of course, but alignment was also out. Wanted struts while it was dissambled, and my one strut tower plate is broke so I'd need another set of them aswell. Was gonna be like 1000$+tax just to correct the tire issue, meanwhile, the head is starting to leak, the tranny has been not so smooth for over a year, and every fluid leaks (minus the washer fluid of course, go figure).

Would like to get a "new" Mustang, 04+, but we'll see. Can't drive a nice new Mustang in the winter...

Skar wants to know if he can have the feces before you junk it. He wants to give it to his new girlfriend for Moose Day.
