youve obviously never used a whip vape, or you would have that volcano shelved and collecting dust.
me, i dont have to grind my herbs.
take a nug, stuff it in and i am off.
i got my ssv back in 2006, it has been turned on and at its desirable temperature nearly the whole time, so when i do want a hit there is absolutely no wait time(i would be exhaling while you are still trying to load the ground herb in the bowl. i would already have a few hits in me by the time your bag filled up).
my vape is completely silent. no crinkly bag noises or hum of the fan round here.
my actual vaporizer requires a dusting every few days. no cleaning necessary unless some noob blew coughed into the whip and blew some herb back onto the heating element. when the whip needs cleaning, i scrape out all that gooey stuff and save it for later, as it is condensed vapor- some good aromatherapy to be had with that stuff.
you should check out my latest video on my youtube page. i went out to the park, grabbed my vaporizer by the cord and gave it a good toss. it survived without any indication that it had just experienced gravity at its finest. how well does your volcano stand up vs blunt traumaż
the volcano vs whip vapes debate is only relevant to those people with volcanoes who have not used many other vaporizers. they think that just because they paid twice or three times as much as almost any other vape on the market that their unit is actually worth that much.
everybody else already plainly knows that the hits the volcano delivers are substandard and "airy" overall.
comparing to cars, the volcano is your uber-luxury bently.
a quality whip vape is like your hennessy/lingenfelter tuned z06-not nearly as easy to drive as the bently, but in terms of raw performance it blows it away.
Ehhh, I'm not going to argue with you over this as this is obviously your forte, but I'm pretty sure if you ask any marijuana forums and say whats the best vaporizer with disregards to money, I'm sure the majority would say the volcano.
You're nitpicking if your biggest complaints are the sound of a bag crinkling, fan humming, and waiting 2 minutes for it to heat up. I love the fact I can fill up a bag, take the biggest, longest "inhale" until my lungs are filled, exhale, then throw the bag across the room to my buddy. & I don't plan on throwing my volcano across the room, so I don't care if it holds up or not lol.
I still prefer 2 buddies & a blunt over getting high off the volcano anyday though..
ps--- 9 ft bags owns any draw type vape.

youre right. it is my forte. so please be aware that i am not typing any of this to bash you and your volcano, merely to inform you and other interested people who do not know much about vaporizers. any marijuana forums that has a vaporizer section will clearly tell you that the volcano is by far the best of the bag filler vaporizers. they will also tell you that the volcano gives inadequate hits when compared to a good whip vaporizer, and that bag fillers and whip vapes are in two completely different classes. just as a luxury car is not really comparable to a sports car- each excels in completely different areas. the only time i absolutely recommend a bag filler is when i come across somebody with a medical condition that restricts their ability to take a hit as normal

no, my biggest complaint is that the hit the volcano gives is simply not very satisfying

if you had a whip vape, you would only be inhaling for a couple seconds and get the same amount of vapor in your lungs. you would get the full flavor of the herb, not diluted with air.

i dont ever plan on accidents happening to my units, but i have lived with dogs and have been in many crowded environments where people are drunk. random stuff happens and all of a sudden the vape is falling to the floor. some vaporizers break after that first or a couple similar falls. the model i prefer absolutely will not.

obviously. as i have stated, and i hope you fully understand- the volcano pretty much sucks in terms of the hits you get from it. pm me and i can give you details on a vaporizer a fraction of the cost that will make you wonder why the hell you would ever want to waste your weed on a blunt when you have access to the vape.
also, when you actually smoke, you are getting a whole set of toxins in you not present with vaporizing- they have an effect on the body as well, adding to the overall.....medicated feeling. carbon monoxide is one of the biggest byproducts of combustion and when inhaled has a sedative effect. depending on what herb you load in the bowl, when vaporizing you simply will not be able to activate certain oils because they boil at or past the point of combustion. for that reason i still prefer to smoke a bowl when out and about.

Some copypasta but this describes it better than I can!
The iolite Vaporizer is powered by butane gas, which it uses a small (wee) amount to create a charge which allows for 2 hours of continuous vaporization.
The iolite Vaporizer uses a patented “flame-less” gas catalytic heater and thermostat to vaporize your herb. The thermostat is Bi-Metal, something like the Volcano uses, capable to holding temperatures of 374° F / 190° C.
Don’t worry, it’s completely safe. The butane conversion takes place within a separate chamber, making it impossible to inhale the vapors.
It takes about 7-9 minutes or so to become ready to use. Then simply fill the herb tray with herb that’s been finely ground. Next begin drawing air through the inhalation tube with nice deep, steady breaths.
