Extreme home makeover is on again........

Does anyone else hate this show as much as I do? It seems that if you have more kids than you can possibly afford, make a video about how you can't afford your kids and shed a few tears about your horrible living conditions, then if you are lucky, they will come and build you a mansion for free.

Now I have seen a few were the people really deserved a new house, ie. a plane crashed on theirs, lol, but most are just stupid people that put themselves in their current situation.

I personally can't stand most of the shows, but I like to see the crazy houses they build.

Makes me want to adopt 10 bastards of my own and try my luck.

ive got a question... how the **** do these people afford to pay taxes on and maintain these huge ****ing houses after they are built?

+1 the electricity bill is going to be more than their previous house payment that they couldn't make.

They should just buy them an LS1, who gives a **** about a house.

I agree, unless you have 20 kids, or smoked crack while preggo they won't build you a house, just build a house for a normal person sometime, damn.

I wonder if there is some kinda rules that say you can't sell the thing right away. They should do a follow up episode. They built a house right near me, but i've never been out there to see it.

I agree the houses are ridiculously large. I'm sure people that get the show overseas think we are all nutz.

Oh, now to try and keep the show going, they are bringing in a new celebrity each week to help. I think this might be it's last season. I think today's show is about a family of 8 that lives in a box they converted into a house. I mean don't they at least have to do some kind of charity work, coach mentally disabled softball or at least have some tragedy happen to them in order to get a new house?

They built a house for some family here. They ended up taking out a loan against the house and foreclosed. lol

I hate that show. Ty talks too damn much and never stops yelling.

Seriously though, I heard somewhere that a lot of those people have had major problems with those houses falling apart, not up to code, etc. Hell, they put them together in a couple of days. Also, why do they call it "Extreme MAKEOVER" when the first damn thing they do is tear the problem house down with an excavator?

If You experienced and lived through some of the things these families have then You wouldn't be too fast to type out how much You dislike the show.
