that's okay, mustain's best music is behind him

unfortunately.

even though he is the king of thrash, unless he's doing some major drugs, I think he won't be making anything seriously good anymore

You do know Mustaine was originally in Metallica, right? He got his style from his time with Metallica, but was fired for drug and alc problems. Then got a label tht picked him up to put together a band like Metallica. They didn't sound the same, but were certainly in the same genre.

Finally!!

Dave is an amazing guitarist, but vocally.......he's horrible. Only great songs were Sweating Bullets and Symphony of Destruction. Never really like wash up that didn't make the Metallica cut.

There would be no trash or metal? Highly unlikely. Slayer and Metallica dominated that era.

Uh, no. Metallica was NEVER, NEVER thrash, nor were they metal.

at the very absolutely most they were hard rock, EVER.

and Mustaine got his style from metallica? Are you kidding me? It's completely the other way around.

Mustaine put metallica on the map, if it wasn't for him, they'd never have been famous

Whoah, you think slayers vocals were better than mustaine's? What crack are you on, I'd love some.

Metallica isn't thrash. Pure and simple. Metallica sucks ass.

I'm a big thrash metal guy. Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Antrhax. All 4 of them contributed to thrash, but Metallica is the foundation for it. I think Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning are the two greatest thrash albums of all time. Sure, they went more into just metal with puppets/justice/black album, and really just made good rock music with load/reload. Experimentation with St. Anger, we all know how far that got them, and now the return of thrash "style" in DM. I don't see how so many people hate Metallica. What bothers me the most is people who have never even listened to Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning, and act like they know everything about 'tallica and still don't like them. Not saying thats you, but what I am saying is Metallica > Megadeth. I still <3 Megadeth, though.

Metallica isn't thrash.

That's like saying Deicide isn't death metal.
