i'm taking a black politics class and the other day we were talking about this. i'm writing a paper about bill cosby and what he thinks the problem is. it's very interesting to see the different views. like obama says that there is still racism, and that the schools need help. meanwhile, bill cosby essentially says the racism stems from this ghetto culture, and though the quality of a lot of schools is poor, the main problem comes from drugs, 'thug life', fathers running away, and learning being 'white'.

well, you certainly have a terribly unfocused thesis and two "contrasting" parties which have the same exact view on the issue. although if you pretend obama is jesse jackson, you might have a decent paper.
