87 Monte Carlo SS

If you had the chance to buy a 87 Monte SS would you? 305, auto, black, 172,000 kms(107,500 miles). Looks like small dent above headlights, only spot that has major damage(from the 2 pics ive seen).

Its up for bids by the insurance company, they wrote it off, but doesnt give any info on the damage besides right front.

You can see the small dent above the headlight in this pic.

Reserve bid is $300. Bid on it or not? Im going to go take a look at it when I go into the city this weekend.

Yeah they say 300 but that could change quick. Its a sealed bid system so you dont know what the other people are bidding.

Reserve bid is 300. It can go higher than that. All depends on if anyone else wants it or not.

There looks to be some damage on the DS fender in front of the door. Or is it just me?

yeah he probly wont sell it on ebay but if u wait for it to time out and contact the seller out side of ebay u will most likely land it. thats how we got the '68 and the '02.

Its not on ebay. Its from my insurance company's salvage department. They considered the car totalled(they dont put salvage titles on cars tho) then they auction it off.

Its relatively local to me, only 1.5 hrs away.

o i c. hmmmm well if u got some $$$ to throw at it i say go for it. personally i like the g-body cars. they make for some clean cruisers.

as far as the damage goes, i dont see anything that deffinately stands out as damage, but its not the greatest pic so... more pics?
