Default Race with O/D on or off?

I was wondering if yall turn overdrive on or off when you race. When its off you rev higher so better response.

thats like asking if i race with my seatbelt on or off. of course i race with my seatbelt off... makes the ride much more thrilling and exciting.

Depends, if you're racing against a guy on a scooter with big ol' legs, turn it off, however if the guy you're racing has scrawny chicken legs, might as well leave the OD on.

Or you could just not race with a close to stock v6 mustang.

hmmm I was under the impression a v6 didn't have enough power for overdrive. I thought it was more of a feature to entice buyers.

Why race with OD off? How does that provide better throttle response? If you're racing from a dig, like you should be, not using overdrive won't effect first, second or third gear. Assuming you have a 4 speed auto.
