I'd say you're screwing yourself if you wanna buy a used car, go Jap.. I'm telling you.. Almost zero cost of ownership past the cost of fuels, which is minimal.. Neons have all sorts of little issues here and there, very nagging.. I always steer clear of non-flagship GMs as well..

Jeep Wrangler. Good in snow, and I would assume decent on gas? 4wd...sounds better than a grand am or Neon.

i think a better idea would be to move to florida then you dont ever have to worry about snow again :P we havent had it here in south GA since 1989
