Yep sucky choices, but I need another FWD daily driver for winter. I'm gonna sell the Camaro cuz I really don't wanna drive it for another winter. What engine do you think is better between these 2? I'd say the GT looks a little better, but I've heard bad things about the engines. I want something that's gonna get good gas mileage and FWD. Suggestions?
I'm only planning on spending about 2500 max for this pile of junk

Suck up your pride and get into an econobox import. For the money you're spending they're the better choice IMO. For a reliable, economical, FWD grocerygetter Japan can't be beat. This is solely MY opinion and not one that will be echoed favourably around here lol but it's worth considering. I don't like either of your choices so I can't help you there. Everyone I've known that's owned a Grand Am of any year has regretted buying it. On the other choice I'd rather drive an import than a base Neon. Good luck with whatever you choose:-)
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”
