Your buddy bought a V6 Mig 29?

Is he gay? V6 Migs are as gay as gay gets.

If you're going to get one you've got to get the one with the two Klimov RD-33 afterburning turbofans.

How's the airframe?

Bondo? Russians like to stuff and buff.

Still flys straight. LOL.

I wish I could afford a nice one. There's a project Mig on BEEZITs I was thinking about bidding on... I figure I can put the wife's B52 out in the driveway to free up some garage space to work on it on the weekends. It's got the two Klimov RD-33 afterburning turbofans so it's worth restoring.

Ox, don't worry about it, i think all that body wear will just buff right out. and word to the wise, remove the tail numbers, the air force gets kinda jumpy when a soviet mig with russian numbers start flying around.

not if it crash lands you won't, hard to prove it broke down if it is in a thousand pieces, they could claim you were being dumb and it was pilot error. Bring it down in one piece like i did:

I got the outta sight warranty with mine. I thought it was a great deal, turns out after much arguing and bickering back and forth after that little mishap, it meant once you were out of sight, you were out of warranty. live and learn I guess.
