It's definitely thick. Bought it for hiking, hunting, etc. I looked around at lots of knives before buying. I use the mini pendleton at work every day.
I like Kershaws and Gerbers too. Especially the Gerber Diesel multi tool.

Stripped, patina'd, and sno seal on the leather

Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a sword. Would like to stay under $100. Always liked the look of the wakazashi, katana, etc. Any suggestions? I don't want to buy junk, so I'm not even sure I can get quality for that price. Just looking for something to learn with, and you can't buy guns and ammo anymore.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but their blades are really nice. I have the Sansibar #3

If you want a cheap decent blade look at the Gerber machetes.

Have to bring this thread back from the dead for a story of good customer service.
I purchased a Leatherman Skeletool CX about four months ago. I use this thing all the time and it has a fantastic knife and decent pliers. Anyway, I used the pliers in sort of a twisting prying motion, and broke them. I got on the Leatherman website and realized that they have a 25 year warranty on all of their tools and knives. I shipped it to them, I don't think they could have had it for a day, and I had a replacement in about six days.
My mail is slow here. I was shocked that I could have a replacement in six days. It probably took three days shipping both ways, that means they turned it around the same day they received it. Pretty happy customer.

They call them boot knives cause so many people carry them clipped to their boots....illegal in OK. Stupid, but double edged knives and push daggers are banned. Go figger

I got a Cabelas gift card, so I picked up one of their knives made by Buck. I've always wanted this particular model, seems like the perfect size for everything. And hey, it was almost free. Will post details later.
