And this was when I decided to see how long I could go without getting pulled over for no front plate (so far ive had no trouble)
Peek a boo
A found a set of rims, which I found out later are Momo Arrows in 16x7. I didnt really like them and the guy wanted $300, but I did really want something new. I told the guy they werent really what I was looking for, he emailed me two days later saying for $160 they were mine. I figured meh and went and grabbed them...
I saw this sticker online and after a few weeks ordered it, for the lulz of course. (you can also see where I keep my front plate)
I then had a somewhat local chassis builder make a roll bar for me. (yes even though it is completely impossible for Miatas to roll......)
I always wanted this picture, I just wish my camera wasnt a piece of crap....
Things that I dont have pictures of on hand. I lowered it, put on a grant classic wheel I had laying around. Removed the ac and some brackets.
Im sure a ton of other small things I dont even remember.
6 spd from a 2001ish Miata, or beef up another 5 spd with straight cut gears.
Either welded or torsen diff from newer as well.
300ish whp with whatever boost needed, ordering megasquirt soon and my turbo manifold, then its mainly all little stuff. It is fairly budget although I will spend good money on important things, bov and wastegate (so they dont leak), manifold (so it wont crack) but go cheap on other things that are moreso disposable and will probably change through time anyways (intercooler, this turbo)
Vehicle: 2006GT/Gone but not forgotten/2008 Shelby GT500 now!
Did it come with a free tampon when you purchased it?
LOL sorry I just had to.
I'm joking. My friend had a miata back in the mid 90's when they were
a REALLY in car. It was actually a pretty neat car to drive.
So tiny though it was like driving a toy. But that is what of made it so much darn fun.
They actually reminded me of my fathers Porsche 944 Turbo in looks at the front end.
