I said it a lot when there were all those spy shots of them testing with a current gt500. The competition should only be used as a benchmark not the goal. The ZL1 will smoke the 2011 shelby, but who says its going to stay the same...and now this.
It is definitely an exciting time for muscle cars.
What won’t change is the basic rear-suspension design. That’s right: This most insanely powerful of Mustangs will keep its live axle. It’ll just be a little, er, livelier.
Meh not interested, any word on the redesign? What was it, for 2014? Hopefully Ford does something about the archaic suspension and weight, if the news is good I'll make sure to return to the pony car ranks, if not imports will have to suffice.
Stock....except for the cai, Steeda CMDP, Brenspeed dyno tune, Flowmaster 60 series, Ford Racing strut and control arm brace, Koni shocks, Steeda Sport springs, Whiteline Watt's link and sway bars, GT500 brakes, and a healthy coating of dirt since I'm too lazy to wash it.
