Default Win 631hp lambo... crash in a few hours

http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoram...220724449.html

Cliff notes.

- Truck driver win's $200k 631hp lambo

- Got a warning from police to slow down.

- slid 75 feet off the road into a field, busting the oil pan and bumper. Told police he was only going 40-50mph

luls.

Could afford to pay taxes obviously for it, but not smart enough to resale it. Could have probably sold it for a $50k profit over what he paid for the taxes.

I read another article about this guy... You'd think with 4 kids he would do the smart thing and sell the car.

But I guess some people just lack common sense... The tires alone will probably break the bank for this guy.

Well I Don't think I could resist taking the thing out on the highway and seeing what it could do. I wouldn't take it up to 220mph or whatever its stop speed is, but I bet I would see how fast it could hit 150.

You wouldn't want a joy ride?

Whew. LUckily it was only an ugly ***, booger-green Lambo and not a Ford GT or something pheonominal (sp?) like that.

Still, I think Red Foreman would like to say a few words to the gentleman.

The guy was a douche before, he's still a douche after the fact.
Same thing with people than win the lotto and end up being broke, lol.

Only 50k profit you say?

Christ, you pay sales tax (use 10% as a high number) of 20,000. Proceed to sell for 150,000 (75% of sticker ) and profit over a hundred large.

I would def do something like this as well. Altho it would be hella fun, I don't see the logic in keeping a car like that. Esp for us everyday Joes/Janes.
