Question If you had extra income which mustang would you buy?

I plan on getting something with lower miles and factory stock. Which would you pick? I have enough income to buy say a used 2006 GT manual with lower miles, and its what I am leaning towards getting... I am just curious what other people feel. I could keep my 94 GT but I am not all that happy with it at the moment, would like something fresh, a clean slate, a stock GT with about 60k miles, and go from there. I am gonna buy what I like, but just taking some opinions, its interesting see what others think.

voted the s197 because they're the best cars. If I were going to mod the hell out of something and get rid of a lot of the current car's parts, I'd go with the fox because the initial investment would be relatively low.

I would probably pick up an 03-04 Mach 1 or Cobra.

Sometimes I wish I'd ahve bought a used low mileage clean older car instead of ordering the Shelby.

Definitely would have picked up a CLEAN '85/'86 GT or '87-'93 LX5.0

where is the classic option in the poll??

actually though id like to have a 1971 Boss 351 as my next Mustang in Medium Lime Green Metallic

The Boss paint scheme is slightly different and it has a chrome bumper instead of the color keyed like the mach 1's got

Also the Boss 351 was the fastest stock mustang till the 00 Cobra R

depends on where you are, fox bodies are pulling the same price as new edge cars right now around here.

all I can say OP is drive a couple of different ones and see what you like, I would probably start with a 96-01 NA cobra, and go from there though

I like those cars but right now its not what I want. Its why I didn't put a poll up for 64-84 because I don't want one of those as of yet. I will probably get a older mustang (60s-early 70s)someday, but for now I want something newer.

That is my plan... call me crazy but I like the 96-98 GT. I am anymore a bigger 4.6 fan than 5.0.

If I had a choice, I would get an 01-04 Cobra since they're factory supercharged and can be made a beast pretty easily. However, I think one in good condition costs more than its 05-10 GT counterpart.
