Who Is Your Papa John and What Did He Dough Today? Say cheese stick!
Went to the NY International Car Show at the Jocob Javits Center yesterday, there was some cool stuff but, it's more like a new car show.
The new Porsche 918...950K!!
I finally seen the new Stang, the interior looks really good but, IMO the S197 exterior looks much better, the new stang looks like it's not finished or needs something??IDK. It's kinda of plain looking. I'm guessing the later updated version of the 15 will look better...kinda like when the 09 Stang changed to the 10 Mustang...this new 15 Mustang is missing something on the exterior....something is not right about it. Ford had 3 2015 Mustangs on exhibit and these cars where mobbed by the crowds, I couldn't get any good clear pictures and they had the white 50th anniversary stang there....to many people to get a good picture....Ford had a really nice display area in this event.
The line for this was crazy long

Washed, Clay bar, Waxed, vacuumed, cleaned the inside entirely... just like new again. Took over 4 hours.
2nd good weather/warm Saturday this year.. first one I power racked/vacuumed, aerated my lawn and edged it. (No small feat, had 2 friends helping and we filled one of their trucks completely full from the old stuff we pulled out of my lawn)
Spent the day with a floor sander fixing the decks outside. When I built them a couple of years ago I told my wife that they had to sit for awhile before staining or painting to let everything dry with the treated lumber. Of course she figured I was just being lazy and not wanting to do it at that time so "surprised" me and oil stained one and latex painted the other. Of course it didn't hold paint because the treated lumber was still wet. So she tried to "fix" it the next year by painting both again. Been nothing but problems with the paint just lifting off.
So after 5 hours of sanding I am part way done. Should have gotten a full before shot, but did get one step that isn't done yet.
This level needs more work still and is taking longer, more cupping I'm finding
I got quite a bit done today, about 1/3 of the way done with half of the loft that I am putting up in my garage, got my new bed, moveed some furniture around the house. Tomorrow new front door goes on and then I start work back up monday
worst part of today is I found out I may not be physically eligible for Lasik surgery. which sucks. my Corneas may not be thick enough....
