We kind of plop tidbits of cool science stuff here and there in OT, but it kind of gets lost. So I thought, HEY TARDIS (that's what I call myself) why not give science it's own special place here in the mighty MF Off Topic forum?

So, what's the lightest man made substance on Earth that you can think of? I bet you were thinking of Aerographite, right? Wrong! Back of the line! No soup for you!
This new material is one-seventh the density of air.

Do you ever think that science was only invented to test our faith?

Yes, but your tires won't be. So no, you can't float around in your truck like the house in UP.

If it were really 1/7th the density of air, couldn't they have found something cooloer to put it on top of? I didn't read the link.

Was just told this

Quote:
What the celebration was before Christianity ruined it
Ostara, goddess of rebirth]
Celebrated in the Spring equinox
Hence Ostara=Eostre=Easter
And why rabbits and fowl are symbolic
Ostara had two rabbit consorts, lol
And geese or some such
Typically you light a bonfire and watch the sun rise. Pretty low key for a pagan festival

Not science but interesting
