There is no biblical age of the earth.. idiots try to give it an age based on things they interpret(which is wrong), trying to denounce science with their religion.. morons.

They always forget that there were other humans (Or humanoids, possibly neanderthals) on the earth other than adam and eve... it's in the bible.

Not according to genesis 3:20. "Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living."

FYI, you're arguing about a fairy tale with Mishri.

I only say this so you can stop now before you commit intellectual suicide.

I can see it already... "Well, that's not how I would have written the bible, those old guys were stupid, I don't know why Jebus didn't chose me to write it, probably because I'm too smart and would've written with better prose than those jesus guys could have ever thought of. Here's what the word of god really means, let me explain it..."

That was adam's idiot mistake (before he ate the fruit of knowledge, he must have been a real dumbass).

Genesis 4:16
So the LORD said to him, "Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold." And the LORD appointed a sign for Cain, so that no one finding him would slay him. 16Then Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

Obviously there were other people in the world who might slay him back then. After all, they only had Cain, Abel, Seth, and then other sons and daughters... so.. 7+... but adam and eve's kids would surely know of their older brother... It's not like all their kids were running around killing one another that God had to worry about him being killed by someone east of eden.

But this is why so many people get confused by the bible... They don't take into account everything else and how it would apply when quoting a single line.

The book of Jubilees claims that Cain married his sister Awan, but christians don't include that book in their religious teachings. There are a lot of ancient religious texts that don't make the cut.

Apparently among Christians this is a debated topic as well... If you apply a little knowledge of the earth to your reading of the bible it goes a long way towards interpreting the bible so you don't sound like an uneducated moron like 90% of christians. That's the thing with the bible, it's written like poetry, it's open for interpretation.

I'm going to take Redass' advice and not comment. Mainly because I can see exactly how this will go. Pretty much like the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.
