Guys, I ride every weekends and I make a point to bail out of town on every rides.
A couple of buddies and I only use secondary roads...no traffic, intersections, cops or other bikers to worry about.
So you can do it the right way and wearing the proper gears etc...
Also, twice a year I go in the Mountains to enjoy the twisties there because after all, the real thrill on to wheels is to throw the bike in the turns.

I would love to get and learn how to ride a motorcycle, but it is just too f'n dangerous here. People drive like jackasses, as do a lot of the folks on bikes. I have been seeing at least one motorcycle accident a week it seems like since summer began.

I'm not a street rider anymore. Dirt/desert only. I love off-road trucks, ATVs and bikes.

Hell, a lot of current liter bikes will hit 100 at the top of first gear and most are only 160bhp. That being said, my next bike will probably been a liter....

I've been riding about 5 years on my current 600.

My 2009 Honda CRF 450R, 2005 Honda CRF 250, and an old Honda CR 125 I was restoring. Unfortunately had to get rid of the 125 though before I could finish it. Grew up around dirt bikes and racing Motocross.

Yea I'm a big fan of those. If I can find one for a decent price when I go shopping (probably next spring) I'd love to buy it. If not it'll be either a GSX-R1000 or CBR1000RR
