Looking to purchase a shotgun. My gf's father is looking to get rid of his Remington 870 express. He has the extended barrel to go with it as well. It's got the ugly wooden stock and fore grip. It's been used a total of 6 times. He just doesn't use it anymore since he uses a crossbow for hunting nowadays.

1) What should I offer him for his lightly used 870 with extended barrel?

2) Can I get rid of the ugly stock and fore end and replace it with black synthetic?

Thanks guys.

I'll be making another thread eventually for ccw handguns and another for rifles.

Here's an offer you can make:

Tell him that the next time you sex up his daughter, promise him that you won't skull ***** her until she passes out.

See if he goes for that.

If he doesn't care about his daughter passing out and insists on a monetary exchange then go to gunbroker.com or a similar site and see what they're going for.

870 is a great gun and is one of the easiest to modify with a ton of options out there.

It's not exactly an expensive weapon.

We have a thread for firearms.
http://mustangforums.com/forum/off-t...ms-thread.html

And offer not to skull ***** her after she passes out.

I don't have time to look through 210 pages of the firearm thread. People aren't posting their prices either. Just their firearms.

HP... They go any where from $340-$400 new. Use this site if you want to get a good price to negotiate on a gun. I even put in your state for you.

http://www.armslist.com/classifieds/...&tag=remington

and yes they have black out kits for the 870.

Amazon.com : Magpul Industries MAG 460 SGA Stealth Black Remington 870 12 Gauge Shotgun Buttstock Kit w/ Rubber Recoil Butt Pad + MAG 462 MOE Polymer Texture Forend + Ultimate Arms Gear Gun Care and Reel Silicone Lubricated Cleaning Cloth 12" x 14" : Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com : Magpul Industries MAG 460 SGA Stealth Black Remington 870 12 Gauge Shotgun Buttstock Kit w/ Rubber Recoil Butt Pad + MAG 462 MOE Polymer Texture Forend + Ultimate Arms Gear Gun Care and Reel Silicone Lubricated Cleaning Cloth 12" x 14" : Sports & Outdoors
just example, Although I like Magpul products.
