Default Next mods?

Ok. So all my parts are on their way or here now (going to be on by the 7th for the track) So far...

GT sway bars
maximum motorsports caster camber plates
bullett (**** spelling) springs and shocks
m/m sub frame connectors
bama livewire ts tuner
100 shot of nitrous
CAI

What should I do next? This all keeps me in the STX class (minus the nitrous but that is only for a day and the street)

Car have gears yet?

Upgrade the brakes. Stainless lines, new fluid, better pads?

A very noticeable difference. Car handled a lot better, and the majority of the squeaks/groans were gone. I should have done them the day I bought the car.

If you can't do gears, upgrade the brakes. Going to 13" rotors isn't needed as much as good lines, decent pads/rotors, and fresh fluid.

Back when I had my v6 mustang it had Kenny Brown Suspension Package (strut tower brace, welded-in subframe connectors, K-Member stiffening brace, rear axle panhard bar, Bilstein Shocks/struts) and a 8.8 with 3.73's I believe.

It was kewl.

Wait you have an automatic? Even Mishri knows not to have an automatic for roadcourse work.

You need long tubes or mid lengths to see any gains. I thought about some shorties (only thing legal in ca) but not worth spending 5-600 for only 5 -10 hp

ALlright, So....
Dont bother with GT swaybars- the front is maybe 1mm bigger. Just get a rear one from a GT/mach1/bullitt.
CAI is also worthless- you get the same effect from removing the silencer and adding a K&N.
Skip the 13" brakes- They make adaptors now for a 14" brake setup with more bite. Cheaper too- uses 11+ brake calipers/brackets/pads, Boss/GT500 rotors and an adaptor piece.

The 13's barely clear the stock 17" rims, will the 11+ brakes clear stock 17" rims?

Edit: Also, it is still pretty expensive. The adaptor kits I have found for the front is almost 400 bucks, and doesn't include the brakes. I am interested in this if I can find it cheaper. I can sell my 13" rotors and such to help finance.

You will need 18's.

The adaptors are at- http://www.fullytorquedracing.com/mu...brake-kit.html

REad this thread- http://www.sn95forums.com/showthread...orders-Open%29

I got the calipers/brackets/pads for 125. Rotors are 45/ea, and the adaptors are 175. So call it 300 for evrything.

way cheaper than the kits I found for sure, but if you don't have 18" rims, then a little more expensive. Since I don't have (nor do I want) 18"s, then I am gonna stick with the current brakes I have. Still that is a great way to upgrade if you have the rims to fit em!
