To G or not to G, that is the question...For me, it would be simple. Just ask yourself this question: Can I live with a car that does not have that V8 sound? I find it intoxicating and if I ever move on to another car that doesn't have that burble, I know I will miss it.

Like others have said, you can always come back.

The G35/37 are glorified 350/370 Z's. Nothing like an Altima at all. Not sure where you even got that idea.

That being said, I'm still with everyone else. If you get rid of the Mustang, you're very likely going to regret it.

Yep. You're nuttier than elephant schit. But what do I care. Drive what you want to. Hell, we wouldn't care if you came plodding up in here on a plow mule.

I wouldn't buy a G35/37 because I could never get used to that buzzy exhaust. Inside becomes unbearable after a few times. Outside, ugh, I can always tell when one is around. Sounds like a pissed off hornet squawking through a megaphone. Annoying yes, intimidating no.

As for the Altima/G comparo, have you seen the Altima Coupe? Looks like the infinite. Also, few years ago they both used the same engine 3.5L.

It wasn't until they dropped the 3.5L in the G (G37) that I would no longer consider comparing the Altima and G car.

The newer G37 is more like a 370Z now instead of an Altima.

If you don't know about G35 and G37 coupes, then don't talk. They are directly 350z/370z chassis that have been stretched ~8". All g35s came with the 3.5 v6 liter making around 280hp. They are IRS and rear wheel drive. They are tight and nimble and are fun to drive. The altima on the other hand is a FWD car and come are a i4, some are a v6. The exhaust is obviously a v6, though not necessarily bad. They are fun cars and more directed at handling than muscle.

Dude, I have a G35 coupe. They are not buzzy nor rice sounding at all. In fact, you can't even hear the exhaust on the inside.
I know a lot of people put rice exhaust on them, but mine is stock, quiet and really quick!

well, its getting cold outside again...****in reached down to the 40s the other day. almost can't wait for the snowy stuff............................almost i don't have a twitter account nor have i ever been to a twitter web page (update: i have), but if i ever did decide to take the plunge i will let you know by posting it in this awesome little box of text (update: not really)! i like tacos lol...though between crunchy tacos and soft tacos i cannot really say which one is better. sometimes, the mess a crunchy taco leaves behind is a little annoying while the soft taco just doesn't have the same taste... cake is so much better than pie no, srsly. **** pie. ****ing

lol @ the g35/37 being a glorified altima

Lol at Altima=G, the G37 is an awesome car, a friend owns a G37s coupe with a 6 speed, it is pretty damn cool.

Stock....except for the cai, Steeda CMDP, Brenspeed dyno tune, Flowmaster 60 series, Ford Racing strut and control arm brace, Koni shocks, Steeda Sport springs, Whiteline Watt's link and sway bars, GT500 brakes, and a healthy coating of dirt since I'm too lazy to wash it.
