My thoughts are Ford needs to make the performance pack more substantial, a true performance pack for racing aficionados. Not the, I have slightly better brakes and tighter suspension package. Camaro really grips the road you can see it. A base camaro with the track package is much more expensive than the base mustang with the track package.. So Ford.. do more with that performance package... Or are you making another Boss and don't want to outshine it?

Stock....except for the cai, Steeda CMDP, Brenspeed 93 tune, Flowmaster 60 series, Ford Racing strut and control arm brace, Koni shocks, Steeda Sport springs, Whiteline Watt's link and sway bars, GT500 brakes, and a healthy coating of dirt since I'm too lazy to wash it.
Its the first year of an all new platformed Mustang. A car that managed to pick up an ILIRS, more tech, more refined everything, all while picking up less than 100lbs in curb weight. How impressive was the '05 vs the '10, the '11, or the '13? There will be improvments, as there always have been. The '15 didnt have to go all out. It'll sell on the merits of being all new, and the 50th Anniv alone.
Some would rather they go max effort, year one. And while that would make a huge splash in the market...what woukd that leave for the next 5 years? Sticker and stitching packages?

Eh.....this new S550 reminds me of the time when the fox mustang was replaced with the SN95 slow as *** mustang which was the dark days for the mustang 1994-2004....I drove Camaro's & Vettes in those days....is this history repeating itself??
