Default what does the word 'clean' mean to you in reference to cars?

I hear the term a lot, from what I understand it means the car looks tasteful and not overdone. but then i get confused when people say "i'm gonna tint my side markers to make my ride look more clean" ?? so for lights is it to give it a slicker apperance rather than when factory red lights look kinda eye soreish and to bright/reflecting?

and of course clean also means 'not dirty'.

on a side note i been trying to decide if i should tint the rear side markers on my s197...can't decide but I guess from the pics i have seen it does look more 'clean' if you do it?

Either tasteful mods or a nice, original car = clean.

Pulling the McD's bags out of the floorboard, vacuum and cleaning the lovebugs off of the paint & glass = clean.

Quit being old and get with slang, even fastback knows the terminology and he's older than than the Model T.

That isn't clean. That is soul-crushingly sad.

To me anything in "clean condition" means almost like new, you get in the car and you can't tell people have been using it for the past 5+ years. No/very little seat wear, no stains no exterior issues. no weird modifications done. (This is what makes that bullit not clean, the oversized wheels and lowered so much makes it "weird" like I wouldn't want it because I'd drag the bumper off on the roads around here).

You can't add mods to make it "more clean" but you can add mods that wont reduce it's level of "clean". tint is obviously one that doesn't impact one's level of clean.
