I don't care about my personal weight loss. But for those that need to lose weight for health reasons. Force yourself to stay active. Buy a really needy dog that you have to walk 2 or 3 times a day.
Ride a bike! One with a pink basket and those pink glittery tassels on the hand grips! And one of those ringy bells that you push the thingy with your thumb and it goes "ching ching....ching ching". Then ride past a kkk church parking lot. Then as they chase you down, peddle your pounds away!
Or just get a gastric bypass and call'er a day.
Or stop over eating and only eat healthy and walk a lot.
I don't drink anything with HFCS. Unless I'm dying of thirst and that's all someone has, but every time it leaves a nasty after taste and makes me thirstier. I don't care for aspartame either. I prefer water almost always.
But when the work day is done and I don't have to drive one of my needy boys or stupid wife anywhere, beer me. Or rum me.
It need to drop a few lb's myself because I've become quite the pot bellied stallion over the last couple years.
+1 on ditching the sodas & sweet tea. I might have a glass or two a week but that's it. Even my rum intake has been severely curtailed. Use to be a bottle of Sailor Jerry about every week but now a bottle will last me a couple months. There was no great conscience decision to do it, it just kind of happened.
Governments are extremely dangerous.
Death, imprisonment, theft of property
and loss of freedom will result from
giving them too much power.
Get the Type 1 'Beetus. Lost a bunch of weight that way.
Obviously I have to watch my sugar and carb intake now, and it really did cause a good amount of weight loss, which wasn't great since I am thin to begin with. But I really don't miss soda or sugared drinks at all. Only time I have some now is if my blood sugar gets too low, and that stuff is way to sweet for me now.
Sweet tea I just cut the sugar WAY back, about a 1/3c for a gallon of tea. Just enough to give it a bit of sweetness.

Real talk though. It's hard at first, but sugary and yeasty items will taste disgusting after a few months of cutting them out. I can't even eat cake anymore, icing tastes like poison.. like it's not even food.
Earlier this year i was 180lbs, now im 160lbs. I'm 5'7" went low calorie, low fat.. mostly chicken breast, brown rice, steamed veggies. or I eat those cafe steamers from healthy choice... I wasn't getting enough calories on my diet though, had to supplement with peanuts and crackers every couple of hours... I also stopped putting pepsi in my whiskey.. just water and whiskey now.. and I started working out a bit at home with hand weights, push ups, sit ups, pull ups.. I'll be starting the p90x soon. My target weight is 155lbs... i'm pretty much there, been sitting at 160lbs for a couple of months now though. so.. switching workouts to more regular with the p90x should get me there. When I'm travelling I still drink Mt. Dew on the road for the caffeine... I found that those cans of sweet tea have even more calories than a bottle of mt dew.
