SORRY TO DO THIS GUYS BUT I HAVE TO MOVE IT. Saturday has been reading morning rain and cloudy/drowsy all day. FRIDAY 4/27/2012 however is sunny and 58 degrees. It is being moved to Friday the 27th!!!!

It is intended to occur unless bad weather is expected!
(If this happens we may move it to another day. Such as that of the day after.)

What: All Mustang meet
Where: Hoover Dam Park across from E. Walnut Street, Westerville, OH( Slightly Northeast of Columbus)
When: Friday April 27, 2012. 5pm - 8pm or until lot clears out.

This meet is so everyone can meet other Ohio Stang owners, talk about the cars, and overall hang out with fellow enthusiasts. ALL year Mustangs welcome! Stock or built, all Mustangs can come!

Cruise: At 6:30 we will all cruise together for roughly 15 miles ending in the same location as the meet. The lines in the map show how we will be going. There is lots of highway and rural stretches for the cruise. Should not be any longer than a 20-25 minute cruise and we will continue the meet from then until whenever.

Note: Racing will not be set to happen! If you're not at the meet you take it upon yourself to do what you want. Once there DO NOT challenge others, start arguments, etc. You know how to act We want to make it friendly and fun. A little revving never hurts and of course ppl want to hear the stangs rumble, we just must be careful!

IF bad weather is predicted for the 27th we will either postpone it to the next day or the following week! I will update this post and give a warning if it is to be postponed. I will notify you all in the thread a couple days in advance.

I would love to attend this....but this is an awful weekend for me. My store will be remodeling and will reopen that day and it will be super long. If I can do anything let me know.

If I get an overwhelming amount of people saying that the Saturday is bad, then I'll move it to possibly Sunday. Would love to see you there OSU!

Best place in Westerville to have a meet would be at Alum Creek State Park. Huge parking lot sections, shelters, grills, beach, pleanty of green grass, fairly secluded... its where we always did ours when I lived in CBus. Just a suggestion.

Thanks I'll check it out. We were going to scout out the areas near Hoover. I'll take a look at that park too. Albeit it's 25 more min out but I'll probably make the trip at how much I drive in a day anyway!

UPDATE: Will be posting pictures of the area and getting details on directions within the hour... hopefully! I am making it 12pm-3pm as 4 hrs seem long, but if people want to stay after 3 then so be it. We will be doing a cruise at about 1:30 with all the Mustangs. Full circle for a few miles ending in the location of the meet.
ALSO if you know you can make it, please say so! I will keep a list of the possible people coming to get a general sense of the turnout! Thanks guys and hopefully we'll get a good turnout!

Well, based on the 2nd picture we shouldn't be wanting of a place relieve ourselves! Here's to hoping for good weather by the lake. Put me down as a "highly likely," but still not 100%. Thanks for putting this together, btw.
