Default New Wheels, how to reset the TPMS?

I just put on a new set of bullitts....and my TPMS goes off as a "system failure". Does anyone have any idea how to reset this?

Thanks.

Did you have a shop put the sensors in the new wheels? Or were there any sensors in the wheels at all? If they don't have sensors you will need to put some in and have a shop synch them to your module, if they already have them in just have a shop synch them. Some places, if your wheels already have them, may do it for free.

Sorry if that sounds a little confusing.

If you haven't already figured it out, here's what AmericanMuscle says about TPMS on their website. Hope this helps....

TPMS Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of rims you will need to transfer these sensors to your new wheels, if not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing. This Universal Mustang TPMS Sensor Mounting Band and Bracket Kit makes it possible to transfer your stock sensors to your new rims - eliminating that annoying dash light - and keeping you safe on the roads.

Money Saving. The factory mounting bands are not reusable Ford designed them to be one use only, so they can charge you $50.00 for a single replacement band. That's where the Universal Ford Mustang TPMS Sensor Mounting Band and Bracket come into play, these bands can be reused when changing between different rims and come as a set of two for a fraction of the cost that Ford charges for a single band.

Needed to Reuse Stock Sensor. The Universal Mounting Band and Bracket kit can accommodate a rim from 14" to 22" in size and reuses your stock factory sensor saving you money.
