Driving?

EB2GT, The car's in the garage with a thick coat of wax on the chrome wheels (learned my lesson last year). No salt for this guy. Besides, the weather down here for the coming week is highs in the low 80's. No rain in sight either. Sorry about your weather, but I never knew winter could be so nice. I don't think I'll be back until Spring. My fishin' rod and golf clubs are a poor excuse for a sweet ride down here, but it'll have to do. See you guys in the spring.

I've been making the commute from Grand Haven on the Lake Michigan shore to Grand Rapids every day, with new Goodyear Nordic Winters, 280 pounds of tube sand in the trunk, and a light gas pedal on both two lane and highway with my 04 Vert. I've had no issues, and it's amazing how well my commutes have gone since I last drove a RWD in winter in 1987. I'm fortunate that I have a car wash about a mile up the road so any salt accumulation can be sprayed off, and I park in a heated garage so that's a bonus. I am really ready for spring here as well. Peace, John

Ditto. Right down to the F-150.... Will get the 'Stang out briefly if there's a warm spell after a good rain (to wash the salt off the roads), though. That happens once a month, if I'm lucky.
