I could do a mid-to later afternoon event on Sat. the 13th, but my wife & I will likely be working until 1:00pm. If in or around C-bus could maybe make by 2:30 or 3:00. That's assuming she gives things her stamp of approval....

OK, since no one else has made suggestions about this thing except to establish a date, How about this:
Between Cbus and Dayton and Cinci is a Metro Park called Battelle/Darby Creek. It is large enough to plan a cruise around it. We could end the cruise at one of the reserve-able shelterhouses there and grill out.
Here's my suggestion for the cruise:
Meet at West Jefferson High School - 1 Roughrider drive.
Drive south on Gardener Rd to Alkire Rd turn Right.
Left on Georgesville-Wrightsville Rd. to Rt. 665, turn left.
Drive to Greasle Rd. Turn Right. Go to Opposum Run Rd. turn Right.
Left on Harrisburg & London Rd. to Gay rd. and turn left.
Go to Harrisburg Georgesville Rd. and turn left.
Continue straight onto Rt. 665 (Norton Rd.) to Lukens Rd. turn left.
This road becomes Kropp Rd. Follow Kropp Rd. to Alkire Rd.
Continue through the intersection. Road becomes Darby Creek Drive.
Approx. 1/2 mile further, arrive at 1775 Darby Creek Drive and turn left into park.
Yahoo Maps says it is only about 25miles, but takes 50minutes.

Times? How about meeting at 2:30pm for the cruise, and plan to end around 6pm?

Everyone please respond with up or down vote OR alternate plan.

I'm not real familiar with the area, I just threw together a possible cruise route. Matt, or anyone else who knows the area better might be able to find intermediate stopping points of interest ???? please advise.

My end suggestion was going to be Quaker Steak and lube. Shouldn't be too bad in the mid afternoon. I'm up for driving all over the place to pick people up.

Im moving out to blacklick the first week of June. There are a ton of places out east. We should call Boss Cars out there. It's a mustang resto shop. We stopped there on the buckeye stings cruise.

Matt, I was just thinking about the guys driving from Dayton and Cinci. Someplace in the middle would be more likely to get more people willing to drive to it.
If you want to plan something for the east side of Cbus, I'm in for that. (but better sooner than later) Let's get something together.
Cinci, Dayton, points south, what say you?

Id like to get a head count. I mean. If its just Jason driving from Dayton. I would cruise over to get him and head to Columbus. I think most of us would be either here at east of Columbus.
