Default What Brand of Oil and Why?

Since we now have a dedicated Oil section, I figured I would go ahead and ask this question. What brand of oil is everyone running and why? I mean for this thread to be informative, so no flaming please.

Okay, I use Mobil 1 full syn. I know some gear heads that swore by it when I asked what I should use, so that is what I use.

Ive always used mobile 1 and never had a complaint one thing though if you are high milages and switch to full syn you make get some leaks due to it finding holes in gaskets other natrual oils cannot due to larger molecule size

Currently using Pennzoil Platinum but I am switching to Royal Purple. I have heard excellent things about Royal Purple.

i use mobil 1 also. i have for years. mobil 1 makes a high mileage version in 10w30 that i use on my jeep, but i'm not sure if they have a high mileage version in mustang weight. the high mileage has special additives that lubricate the seals i'm told.

dont know why, could be from using the synthetic, maybe ill try high mileage synthetic next.

10w30? I'm sure that weight still works just fine, but the owner's manual says 5w30?
