Reviving my old thread. I just got back a sample of my oil that has 9000 miles on it, my 05 gt has 150,000 on the clock

With 9,000 miles, wear metals barely existent, viscosity not sheared....still in virgin form, and TBN still above 4....

This lubricant will easily make 15,000 miles. No way anything off the shelf would EVER be capable of this.

Reminds me of the sample I took from a 2004 Lincoln Town car with a 4.6L 2V V8 Ford Modular.

The air cleaner is doing good too , not a lot of dirt getting through.

You can say that again, 10 ppm is the lowest silicon I have ever seen in a UOA.

Here is the latest UOA from my 2012 Ford Focus. Amsoil Signature 5W-20 is making Motorcraft look BAD!
