Default How Much Oil Do You Use???

I just changed my oil and replaced it with 5 bottles. I noticed that the level went a little over the middle of the min and max points.

Is it recommended to fill it to the max? How much oil do all of you use?

was that level before or after you started the vehicle because if you put the oil filter on empty the filter has to prime and fill up with oil before you will get the correct reading on the dipstick

and you should use six quarts

Oh yeah, the engine was started and the filter primed before the reading.

Thanks.
