Type of oil to use

I have a 2001 Mustang..and the time for an oil change is coming up..It has about 125k miles on the car... I dont know what type of oil to use. Also Is there anyway i can use a fuel treament to better my gas mileage? If so which brand would i use?

5w-20 of any brand oil you like. But if you want Motorcraft oil and filter should serve your car good with a good price too. As far as the fuel treatment Redline S1, Amsoil PI, Techron Concentrate, and Gumout with regane are some of the best on the market that I know of.

Check out the thread about which oil people uses. It seems to be just a personally preference as many will say one oil brand is no good but others will swear by them. Are you going to be running synthetic or just regular motor oil?
