Default Just bought a Mustang

HI guyz, I just traded my 2010 Tacoma TRD for a mustang from local Pontiac Buick Dealer. Its a 2001 GT (totally stock) with 44k Miles on it. I have no idea what kind of oil previous owner was using and what kind of services were done on this vehicle.

I wanna go ahead and do an oil change. What kind of oil you all recommend, I wanna stay away from expensive oil. Should I use regular oil or synthetic ? I do not plan to install performance parts on it.

almost any kind you pick will be fine.
regular(conventional) is less expensive than synthetic.

Yeah change it every 3,000 miles as well, if not going synthetic.

You traded that beautiful tacoma?? too bad you couldn't have kept it along with the stang...though it sounds like that's a cherry GT with only 44k on it.

You can go 5k between changes with mobil 1 no problem.

Ya i really hated when I had to let go of new Tacoa. But I am going to Fort Riley, KS and getting deployed within 6 months. That means my truck had to sit in storage for 12 to 15 months. No point in making payments.

So far I like how Mustang GT rides. It just holds the road no matter how fast I turn. Something I couldnt do with a truck.

@GTVAPSAMTIK-

Regarding how your Mustang rides... I know it's confidence inspiring, especially compared to your last ride, but wait until one day when you're playing around a little with that gas pedal and the car goes completely sideways! Always fun when you're trying to do it, but these cars like to do it sometimes when you're not really expecting it. Don't worry though, there are things you can do to fix that when you're ready to cross that bridge....
