But they dont have AMSOIL in autozone, Kragen/O'Reilys, Car Quest or whatever. I like Mobil 1 extended performance....

That's because in order for places like this to carry it they need to be set up with an independent Rep, unlike Castrol who assigns a rep to a certain territory.

Either those stores have never had a rep approach them to sell AMSoil, or more than likely they do not support independent reps.

you can read other articles in this forum alone to realize Mobil 1 has worse wear scars than some mineral oil.

And yes this is regarding engine oil only.

This test was ran on "racing" oil 20w50.

You would certainly never use a racing oil in a daily driver. Different formulation.

Been a Moble 1 Full Synthetic User since 1974. Cars I have put 150K, still maintain same mpg when bought new. One can perform synthetic oil search and find INDEPENDENT lab tests of Moble, Ams, Pur. You can decide what best fits you.
