Hey guys, I've had this grinding in my rear for a while now. I always thought it was because of an accident that had occurred previously, but yesterday i found out it's a common problem. So i went on the search to find the solution. Since im out of warranty, I can't go back to them to fix the differential, and why even trust them with the car right? So i was on a forums, and I read to use some Royal Purple gear oil 75W 140 and that it would solve my problem without having to change the clutch packs. My question to you is, do I need to also add friction modifier? And has anyone else had this problem? The car is 06 and has 55k miles.

There is a Bulletin about it for mustangs 05-07. Just need some help, Thanks!

Supposedly you don't need modifier with RP, but it is probably best to put it in anyway.
