Yeah, well im one of the favorites in the class and get along with my instructors pretty well. last semester we painted my friend's 89 notch (former interceptor) from a faded, peeling maroon color to a dark yellow. I've brought in 2 trucks, and my mom's 06 charger r/t for some paint repair, all free of charge

They rescheduled my class at MN Tech for this Monday. I see they are closed today. Does it look like they will be able to open on Monday?

Just joined the forum from Cushing, Ok. Bought my 2012 Mustang Coupe V6 with the "Mayhem" Performance Package on 7/22/11 thanks from help from Grancuda. This is my first Mustang. My other car is a 1970 Chevelle SS with a LS1 conversion, carbed, with a Muncie 21 behind it. Should be fun! Looking forward to talking with everyone!

McAlester area here! Right, we need to get together! Even if it's only a few of us going for a burger or a night at the track or something!

Yes we all do.
We need to plan a trip to Tulsa Raceway or something one weekend.
I'm sure we would all have a blast.

Who needs to wait for all? There are a few of us active right now within the last few days, what say we plan something like a night at the Tulsa Raceway every month or week or whatever, and just get it going and see if we can get more as time goes? I'd love to get even a few beautiful Oklahoma Mustangs together

^ That sounds like a plan.
Maybe we should just send out a few PM to OK members that forget to check this area.
I'm sure a lot more people will be active in the fall too when it cools off.

That sounds like a pretty good idea! I just think it seems like this area has been dead a while so none of the OK members really check it, but I am sure if we set up a weekly/monthly/whatever meet, maybe alternating between Tulsa and OKC areas, even if nothing more than to eat a burger and shoot the breeze about cars, people would get active

That actually sounds like fun! I do believe I am going to try to get out for that as well! Have you been before or will this be your first time?

Just wanted to say... I sent out a few PM's to recently active members in this thread about trying to put together a meet, and some people have their privacy settings so that they cannot accept PM's. Just so everyone knows, Tanner05 and I are trying to see about getting enough people interested in a meet. Haven't set a time, date, or place really yet, kinda depends how many people end up wanting to participate and where everyone is at! So if anyone is interested, by all means PM us or post back! Hopefully we can set things in motion and have some sort of regular activities in alternating areas for everyone! Realize that some people are on the other side of the state from each other, so maybe we can set it up to alternate between the Tulsa/OKC/Lawton areas or whatever it takes to get active in Oklahoma!
