GETTING STARTED IN L.A.

RE: GETTING STARTED IN L.A.
Check out nasaproracing.com. Click on the bar on the left that says HPDE / Open Track.
NASA has many groups ranging from first time beginners up to competitive racing for all types of cars. You can keep your car somewhat streetable and run a few open track events every now and then or......strip it down and turn it into a racecar.
If racing is your interest I would check out camaromustangchallenge.com and americanironracing.com. I have raced CMC (camaromustangchallenge) in the Texas region for 2 1/2 years and it is an absolute blast. AI (american iron) is the same type cars but the rulesallow for more hp, better brakes, better suspension = alot more $$.
Whatever your intentions are NASA is a great place to start.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
