Default help with '86 351 W

I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer some suggestions here. I'm running in a GT1 Class at www.hallettracing.com with the following:
351 Windsor w/ 302 heads bored 30 over w/ stock pistons, intake valves are 202 with 1.60 exhaust. Stock cam, MSD Distributor Pro Run, Offenhauser Dual Port 750 CFM Holly Carb, 411 rear end. A T-5 5 speed w/ stock gears. 1 5/8 full length headers.

Problem is... has no top end. 5K to 55K RPM runs out of power. Hallett is a 1.8 mi 10-turn road course and I currently have no use for 1st or 2nd gears. Any suggestions I might try here to peak performance?

Thanks
Cliff

The stock Cam is designed to run out of power right where yours is. Try going with an aftermarket cam like Trick Flow, AFM, and Comp Cams. Also try going with 373 gears because you run out of RPM's in the top end with the 411's.

I'd go with a new cam as well being the quickest and most effective.

I'm not sure if you have run Hallett before but the track is awesome. Be sure your brakes are at 100%, you'll need them.

Have fun and let us know how it goes.
