RE: Pics from San Antonio
That was awesome! I agree with Roundman, love those flames!!
Night time racing is fantastic because the colors are more noticeable.
I am not familiar with all the different types of racing cars. What type of car is yours? I have seen them hundreds of times, just don't know the name of it.

RE: Pics from San Antonio
IHRA = International Hot Rod Association
NHRA = National Hot Rod Association
NMRA = National Mustang Racers Association
AMRA = American Motorcyle Racers Association and All-Harley Drags means only Harley Davidson motorcyles can race at this race
F-body refers to Chevy Camaros and other GM cars that use the same chassis
bracket, Superchip bracket, ET series, and NHRA Summit ET series all refer to some form of handicapped start bracket racing where you estimate your car's ET and then race other cars who do the same with the slower car getting the head start off the line based on the difference in the estimated ET or dial-in as it's called. for example, if you say you can run 14.00 seconds and you are matched up against another guy who has dialed in a 12.00 time, you will get a 2.00 second head start at the Xmas tree when you race. Whoever gets to the finish line first wins provided you don't run quicker than your dial-in, which is called breaking out, and makes you the loser if the other racer doesn't also break out too. If both cars break out, the one who does so by the least amount is the winner.
I don't know what the TFRA and TSRA stand for, sorry.
