I'm watching the other vids and this vette is nothing to play with.. eats ac cobras and other vettes on the track just for snacks. I keep hearing bov noise. Is the camera vette turbocharged?? or is it the cars trailing him?

I thought the Koni Challenge Mustangs just used a 325hp sealed 4.6L 3V. The FR500C uses the Cammer, but I'm almost positive the Koni series uses the FR500S. So, either that car has a 5.0L Cammer (FR500C) OR it's a Koni Challenge Stang, in which case it just has a 325hp version of our motors.
EDIT: And that definitely looks like a C5 Vette to me just because of the hood bulge and fender.
You are mixing up the Mustang Challenge cars (the FR500S) with the Koni Challenge cars (FR500C) - different series. The FR500C has MUCH more power. And yes, it is a C5 Vette giving chase, a 2002.

No, the Vette is NA. It competes in the SCCA Touring class - which is a step up from showroom stock. I'm not familiar with all the rules but it's not far from a stock C5. Upgraded suspension for sure but its a near stock motor, thus the reason the Mustang with its 400+ HP motor can pull away at will.

Yeah, you're right. I thought the GR500S ran the Koni series as well, my bad.
The mustang was beating the vette, not via superior suspension but via superior driving and out gearing it in the sharp turns. superior driving and outmuscling it in the sharp turns with superior gearing.
I think that's what I saw. correct me if I'm wrong.
