ESCA AutoX Santa Rosa 8/22
Headed out again yesterday for another round of tire wear and the g/f brought her car for a bit of fun as well this time
The first part of the day was scheduled to run the course twice, but timers would start on the beginning of the second pass. The course was fast, but not as fast I had first thought. That is to say, I pretty much plowed every corner outside of the slolom due to speed I thought I could carry I do wish there was one more pylon at each slolom to force a decision on which direction to enter them. As it was, the sloloms were a no-brainer on which side to enter, but did make for a faster entry/exit.
I ended up getting a total of 8 runs throughout the day and everyone else only got 5 . Turns out, Elizabeth was not up for more than a couple runs, so I spoke to the officials and asked if i could run my own car in her place. They said fine, but could not count against my own time as I was in her place. This was my last run of the day after the course was shortened due to time constraints.
I was unable to really improve my times over the day by more than a couple seconds, but had a good time for sure

Elizabeths edit: I was scared I'd be scared, but I wasn't scared, so I was brave.
